AIESEC has internships across the region in areas like HIV/AIDS education, community development and environmental issues, among others. Work in and experience one of the world’s most culturally diverse regions, from the bustle of vibrant cities, to laid-back village life. Internships are available in Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, the Philippines and Thailand.

AIESEC internships are available in the following areas:

·         HIV/AIDS awareness and education, other health issues

·         Entrepreneurship

·         Child, Youth and Community Development

·         Environmental Education/Sustainability/Community Resource Management

·         Education (pre-school, primary, secondary, tertiary)

Duration:

·         6 weeks to 72 weeks (varies according to internship)

 

Starting dates:

·         November/December 2009

 

Salary:

·         Varies according to internship (from volunteer positions to paid internships)

·         Food and accommodation is covered for volunteer positions.

Eligibility for an AIESEC Internship:

To qualify for an AIESEC exchange you must:

·         Have studied at an Australian university for 1 year, OR be an Australian citizen or permanent resident

·         Be currently studying, OR have graduated within the last 3 years.

·         Be under 30 years of age.

Please note: AIESEC can not place students in internships in their home country.
